My macrophotography. Lots of bugs -- flowers, water and other things if I can't find fauna. (Click on a photo to enlarge, click again for an even greater enlargement.)
I didn't expect to photograph more water drops, but this bent blade of grass caught my eye. Sort of a Green St.Andrew's Cross. 1/640, f 6.3, 19mm, FujiFilm S5000. I think I was using my macro filters on this shot, but that was this morning and now it's evening. :)
Thanks! I have another at f/7 that's pretty cool, but doesn't have the neat 'X' with the blurred image in the background and in focus in the drops. I should have done more variations -- mostly I did angle changes.
I'm sorry, I'm such a newbie. I had to look up John Shaw. I've learned all my photography skills from the S5000 camera manual(RTFM, eh?). I do have some composition experience, but that's only because my father and sister taught me by their example (see their links on my sidebar).
I'm a mom of three incredible children. I also do quilting, photography, math geek stuff, computer wrangling, origami, and entomology-arachnology geek stuff.

Again, another amazing shot. As if fresh out of John Shaw's book! Did you try multiple shots? I want to see the one taken with f/11 or f/16.
