My macrophotography. Lots of bugs -- flowers, water and other things if I can't find fauna. (Click on a photo to enlarge, click again for an even greater enlargement.)
Another damselfly in our yard. There was even a dragonfly here, but he left on business. I like the lighting at dawn and dusk. This was taken with the macro feature on my S500 Fujifilm, but not with my additional macro lens.

The picture is good, I like it the way it is. I never been able to get a good picture because they don't stay put for long.
Thanks! I don't generally go for sillouettes, but the setting sun was really pretty and the damselfly seemed ready to take a rest.
My macro lens has this great universal adapter that allows me to take it off very quickly. Generally I use it to take a picture of a bug, then one of my chilren and then another bug, etc. But it's also good for when the more flighty bugs move just out of reach of my macro!
I'm a mom of three incredible children. I also do quilting, photography, math geek stuff, computer wrangling, origami, and entomology-arachnology geek stuff.
