Monarch. I don't see many around, but that is in comparison to other species.Like the painted ladies. These gals were all over the place. 
A funny little fly, no idea what kind it is.

Wow.. you'd think that their sense of smell is so high that they'd steer away from the stinky flowers eh? lol.
I can't believe how many butterflies are in one bush... crazy!
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I seem to have a notification break in my blogging. I thought I fixed that, but I'll try again.
Anyhow, I guess just like cats who think rotting fish is heavenly, butterflies have their own idea of delicious. :)
I was really loving this since I hadn't seen butterflies in a while as all the other flowers had stopped blooming weeks earlier. Lepidoptera galore!
