Gills and stem. The pale hue makes me understand why white is the funereal color.

That is a mushroom? How freaky! I've never really looked closely at those things. Very cool!
Yep! You need to pull 'em out and flip 'em over to see them like this. I saw a mushroom a while ago and I'm still shooting myself for not stopping and taking some pictures. So, when these popped up in the yard after a rain, I snapped away.
