When all the petals of a peony fall off, the mandala is left. Each character, one petal. I have this strong feeling that I should be able to read the symbols. Posted by Picasa

I know what you mean about the feeling that you should be able to read the signs. Something I scribbled on a backpacking trip with your dad at Lake Powell.

Yes, yes! Exactly like that. I think that's probably the reason that I love math. It's all about patterns and reading the little bits of evidence to reconstruct information.
